Prancing Horses were on parade as the Ferrari Owners' Club GB clocked up 50 years
The Ferrari Owners' Club GB celebrated their 50th anniversary in fine style with a Prancing Horse parade across Scotland’s Forth Road Bridge.
The iconic suspension bridge was temporarily closed to allow the troop of cars to drive across unhindered by traffic, all the better for historic treasures like a 330 GT, 246 Dino and 308 GTB to enjoy some open road on their way north from Edinburgh for a track day at Knockhill Circuit.
The vintage Prancing Horses were joined by a number of contemporary special editions, including a Limited Series LaFerrari and an F12tdf.
Now boasting some 2,750 members, the FOC GB will be at the centre of this year’s Ferrari 70th Anniversary UK Tour, taking place from June to September. A LaFerrari Aperta will lead a daily parade of iconic road and track models at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (29 June-2 July), while the new GTC4Lusso will be making its UK debut.
The Tour will then continue with the LaFerrari Aperta visiting every official Ferrari Dealer throughout the country during July and August, before concluding with Ferrari Racing Days at Silverstone (22-24 September).
