On 16th April 2009, Ferrari and Maranello Council signed a collaboration agreement to put in place a series of initiative aimed at improving the commuting experience from home to work for company employees. The agreement was signed by the Mayor Lucia Bursi, Mario Mairano the director of Human Resources and Ferrari Secretary General and Nerino Gallerani, the President of the Modena Mobility Agency.
Incentives were put in place to use public transport to go to work and Ferrari invested 100,000 Euro in the first three yeasrs.
For Ferrari this was yet another service provided for its workforce, in collaboration with the local authority. It’s an approach Ferrari has always adopted, put in place a number of initiatives for employees and their families, all of them contributing to the company winning the title of Best Place to Work in Europe.
