On 24th March 2013, the third round of the European Formula 3 Championship took place at Monza. Dominant in the wet conditions was Raffaele Marciello, who is on the books with the Ferrari Driver Academy and who had already won the first race on the Saturday.

In fact, Marciello got the clean sweep, quickest in qualifying, dominating the race from the start to the premature finish, as the race had to be stopped because of the driving rain and taking the fastest race lap too. In the Prema Powerteam Dallara, the Italian won from Germany’s Pascal Wehrlein and the British driver Alex Lynn.

After just three races, Zurich-born Marciello already had a clear lead in the championship. The only difficult moment came in Zandvoort, Holland, when Raffaele only picked up 12 points against 75 for Sweden’s Felix Rosenqvist, who closed on him in the points table. However, Marciello again pulled away and won the championship without further problems.
