The 20th March 2004 was the 16th day of the Ferrari Russian and Northern European Tour. The morning was spent travelling on the roads around the Kremlin and doing some video filming on the bridge behind St Basil’s Cathedral. The weather wasn’t ideal with a wind chill factor creating temperatures that felt much colder than the 2 degrees on the thermometer.

The Russian and Northern European Tour had started from the Maserati Modena headquarters at 8.30, 5 at a time. The convoy was made up of a Daily Iveco 35s12 HPI Combi, followed by a Maserati Quattroporte, a Maserati spider, a Ferrari 360 Modena, a Ferrari 575 M Maranello, with an Iveco Eurocargo 75e16 bringing up the rear, all on Pirelli tyres.
