Two years ago today, Ferrari finished on the podium at the Bathurst 12 Hours in Australia, an endurance race for GT3 cars. Finishing third on the 6.213 kilometres of the Mount Panorama track was the Clearwater Racing 458 GT3, crewed by Ireland’s Matt Griffin, New Zealander Craig Baird and the Singaporean Weng Sun Mok. It was the start of an upward trend in results at this event, with the same car finishing second in 2013, while a 458 GT3 won this year, thanks to the Maranello Motorsport crew of New Zealanders John Bowes and Peter Edwards, Australia’s Craig Lowndes and former Formula 1 Scuderia Ferrari driver, the Finn Mika Salo.
