Ten years ago today, two Ferraris were lapping under falling snowflakes. It was the second day of testing that week for Scuderia Ferrari at Imola’s Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari, with temperatures barely hitting 2 degrees. Alongside Rubens Barrichello, who had been the only one on track the previous day, was Michael Schumacher. It was a busy day, as it featured a comparison between the F2004 and the previous year’s F2003-GA. Schumacher was in the new car, with Barrichello still working on the older one. Michael did a total of 32 laps, the fastest in a time of 1.21.927, with Rubens doing 27, the best being a 1.22.568. At the first race in Australia, Ferrari took to the track with two F2004s.
