On 17th December 2011, the new Scuderia Ferrari gym, built at the Fiorano track, had his official opening. There to cut the ribbon was Scuderia Ferrari Team Principal Stefano Domenicali, the President of Technogym Nerio Alessandri, the drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa and the Commercial Director of Energy Resources Paolo Zavatta.
The gym covers 250 square metres and is kitted out with 23 pieces of equipment supplied by Technogym, as part of its multi-year relationship with the Scuderia. The structure was built by Energy Resources, a company from Iesi, a leader in the field of eco-sustainable construction and it is the first Ferrari building to have a zero emissions rating.
