On 9th November 2012, a Formula 1 test was held at the Vallelunga circuit, organised by the Ferrari Driver Academy, for the top three finishers in the European Formula 3 Championship. The drivers who got the chance to drive a Ferrari F60 under the technical guidance of Luca Baldisserri and his engineers were the Spaniard, Daniel Juncadella, the winner of that year’s Formula 3 European Series and the European FIA Formula 3 Championship, along with the top two from the Italian Formula 3 Championship, Riccardo Agostini and Eddie Cheever Jr.
The event at Vallelunga, conducted in collaboration with the ACI-CSAI, renewed a tradition that dated back to 2008, established to offer the best young hopefuls a first opportunity to sample the delights of a Formula 1 car.
