On 4th October 2010, Gimmi Bruni and Toni Vilander took their AF Corse F430 GTC to victory at Le Castellet in the GT2 class, in the seventh and penultimate round of the FIA GT Championship. At Paul Ricard, the tried and tested Italo-Finnish duo won from the Collard-Westbrook Porsche and the other F430 GTC car entered by the team from Piacenza, in the hands of Niki Cadei and Alvaro Barba Lopez.

The win on French soil meant that AF Corse and Ferrari took the Team and Constructors’ titles for the fourth time at the highest level of international competition for this type of car. There were four victories in total that season: apart from Paul Ricard, Bruni-Vilander also won at Oschersleben and in the Spa 24 Hours, while Barba-Cadei triumphed in Portimao.
