On 10th September 2006, Michael Schumacher won the Italian Grand Prix. It was Michael’s fifth win in the Scuderia’s home race and the ninetieth of his extraordinary career: the final one would come three weeks later in Shanghai.

That day has passed into Formula 1 history because, after the race, the seven times world champion announced his retirement from racing and at the same time, the Scuderia confirmed the driver pairing that would fly the Prancing Horse colours as from the following season, namely Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen.
