On April 18th 2011, Ferrari welcomed a high-ranking member of the House of Windsor to Maranello. Michael George Charles Franklin Windsor, better known perhaps as Prince Michael of Kent, is first cousin to Queen Elizabeth II.
A great car enthusiast, the Prince test-drove both the Ferrari California and 599 GTB Fiorano on the track before being given a taste of the spirit and power of the 458 Italia and the innovative FF.
Prancing Horse cars are very often described as “magnificent” and “deluxe”, but this time the compliments they earned came from an individual whose family has been steeped in luxury for generations.
And Ferrari stepped up to the mark in style, proudly showcasing its true majesty and excellence for a real Prince.
